The Horse pictured is “Willow” and I have owned and adored her for around 7 years now. She turned nine this past March. I also have two dogs and lovebirds. Besides my regular day job, (I groom dogs for a living) and crafting, I am also a trail guide on weekends. I do some of my best creating while in the saddle. Anyway, I began experimenting with clay to ease my sore fingers. The rest is history. I fell in love with sculpting and over time, I have pushed myself to limits even I didn’t know I could reach. Needless to say, from that first disaster, (the one we wouldn’t dare let anyone see, ha ha) to the present day masterpiece, I think the journey was well worth the effort. Besides sculpting, I have dabbled in soft sculpture and I sew clothing for my creations, although, my sewing is a bit helter skelter most of the time. (I flunked home economics.) I’m still trying to figure out how to do a decent dart. I also like working with wood, leather, and metal, and of course, the “Power Tools.”
