Hi there....I am Joan Risley, and I resides in Gerry , N.Y. with my hubby, John Risley. We have been married for 50 years! We are Parents of four grown children; Gary, Mark, Sally and John Jr. who have blessed us with 10 grandchildren, and now, one great grandaughter! We enjoy camping, traveling and Wintering,in Zepherhills, Fla. I have been a doll maker of many media's, including teaching porcelain doll making for over 15 years. I went on to reborning trying to acomplish the real newborn look and became a recognized Reborner, earning awards for both my Porcelain Doll Making, and Reborning abilities. But...still not realizing my lifelong dream, (sculpting my own babies...) I left the reborning world, to realize that dream...and I am loving it... I have been sculpting now for 4 years, and finally have found my niche... I love watching a creation go from a blob of clay to a sweet little baby, in my very own hands!
